Money Tree Merchant Services Review

Overview

Money Tree is a bit of a tough customer to review, as there are a number of companies that use all or part of the Money Tree moniker, and it isn’t clear which company is related to the Money Tree providing merchant services. It’s possible that Money Tree is owned by Total Merchant Services. That being said, there are a number of attractive features for using Money Tree Merchant Services.

Money Tree Merchant Services Review

Pros

In addition to all the features you’d want from the better merchant services companies, such as debit and credit card processing, ACH processing, cash advances, online gateway, POS equipment, and gift and loyalty programs, Money Tree Merchant Services offers month to month contracts with no early termination fees, a true rarity in the merchant services industry, and a boon to a small business. Merchant Services reviews also indicate that Money Tree uses third party processors. Merchant Services is an industry that is saturated with this practice, so it’s not that big of a surprise, and some reviews have even claimed that Money Tree is one of the best card merchant services that the reviewer had used, which is a strong sign of support.

Cons

There are some problems with Money Tree Merchant Services though, including issues with the sales team, which has received a few complaints online and in reviews regarding their tactics. Moreover, with so many different Money Tree companies operating, it is hard to tell if customer complaints and positive reviews are being associated with the correct company, which throws some doubt on the accuracy of reviews. This may scare away some merchants who want to make sure that they know what they’re getting into before signing up.

Verdict

Money Tree is a good merchant services vendor if you are looking for month to month but don’t want to use mobile services like Paypal or Square, otherwise you’re better off looking elsewhere.
